a british american kid named harry potter percy jackson discovers his dad was a wizard mythical god and that he has all sorts of powers that'll be needed when he and his pals - a ginger doofus african-american guy and a junior minx - go in search of a philosopher's stone lightning bolt. awesomely original - and from director christopher columbus, who helmed the first two harry potter movies. actually looks like fun.
