Getting stressed with school. Needed music to soothe me. I have found 2 really good sounds, Tegan & Sara and Tokio Hotel (TH talked about in a separate post). Both completely different ends of the rock genre. Can't really decide which of T&S's is my favourite but I do really like the lyrics of Are You Ten Years Ago. 

I know the lyrics look repetitive (and they are) but they don't sound it. They don't drive you crazy at all but the twins' pleasingly different vocals and techniques make the song unique and addictive to listen to. I think the reason I like these lyrics are because they are strange and almost don't make sense. But they make sense to me. I can relate to them and this time it's not all "I feel sad, I can relate to this song". But rather that I think of it similar to my everyday life and how like the song I feel slightly crazy.

My new favourite song at the moment is "Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional. It's a beautiful uplifting song about love. It is a really sweet song and I like it a lot. Its a song I think of as romantic, but its not the usually soppy kind so I like it even more.If you ever get a chance to listen to it, do!

I have really been getting into SAOSIN's music at the moment and their song "You're not alone" has become a fast favourite of mine. It is one of those songs that when you are feeling low (no i'm not feeling low right now), it helps lift your spirits.
